Hello Parents!

Tomorrow is Picture Day! PLease have your child come to school with their award-winning smile (I have seem them all - they are perfect!).

I have e-mailed the first Kindergarten Newsletter. If you have not received it, please let me know! Some e-mails were harder to read than others :)

We are in for an exciting week! As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

The things kids say...

This portion of the blog is dedicated to the wise, intuitive and sometimes silly things that kids say during school!

"My great great grandma lived in the 60s and she SURVIVED. Really, I'm serious!"

"If worked at a buffet and I would be French!"

"My brain is drunken from yesterday."

"Let's go sit at the water elements table!" (the blue table)

Almost, without fail, when I introduce a book and the author there is at least one student that exclaims:

"I know her! (or him if it is a male author)"

"Peace out dude!"

"My favourite food is any food that starts with k!"

(while drawing a large picture) "I just don't think that this is possible!"

"Look at me - I am really really good at drawing trees."

"I'm going to give Santa a tattoo."

After being told to wear his pajamas to school tomorrow:

"I can't let the ladies see me in that!"

"I'm that smartest in my family. My WHOLE family."

After seeing a picture of a wolf: "If I got eaten by a wolf, my mom would worry!"

"That was very creative, wasn't it?"

"I'm really old... like, half old!"

Mrs. Boles: "We don't use guns in school. We only use things that shoot our kisses and flowers." Student reply: "Well, mine has teeth!"

"I learned a really good rule today. I will never forget to save the earth."

"I'm making you out of world soup! It's really good!"

"You smell like crayons."

"I'm smart. And not because I play the Wii."

"I like church, but I have to listen. I don't like listening."

"You know what the cool guys say: 'Peace to the home dogs!' "

"And I thought I was coming to school to learn?!"

While playing with some ocean animal stamps, a littler girl turned and said: "Have you ever heard of Mobey Dip?"

"Is it law that you come here [school]?"
